Bulbophyllum lobbii

Hi Khairimhd, After a lot of research over several years by four botanical institutions, DNA analysis and cladistic studies revealed that all the so-called varieties of B.lobbii which were given species status are in fact B.lobbii, with one exception, B.facetum which has sufficient differences to remain a species. It is beleived that if the same scientific criterea had been applied to the genus Cattleya we would have had just 2 or 3 species in the bifoliate group and the same in the one-leaved psuedobulb cattleya's. But suggest changing the status quo in that genus would cause mayham.
