Robiquetia Gaudichaud

The genus Robiquetia was named in honour of M. Pierre Robiquet (the discoverer of caffeine and morphine) by Gaudichaud in Freycinet, Voy Uranie 10: 426 ("1826", 1829). There are from a dozen to forty or so members of the genus depending on which reference is consulted. The species are distributed throughout the Asian Tropics from Sri Lanka and India to the islands of the Pacific including two Australian species.
