Eriopsis biloba

Eriopsis biloba Lindl., Edwards's Bot. Reg. 33: t. 9 (1847).
Distribution: Costa Rica, Northern South America to Peru and Brazil.
Conical psuedobulbs 2 or 3 plicate veined greenish-brown leaves. Inflorescence up to 40" long with up to 35 flowers. Lip distinctly bilobed.
A close-up image of the flower. For some unknown reason the sepals of these species always seem to be out of focus, I think it's something to do with the converging colours. The flowers are up to 2.5 inches long.
