Regards wellsy

No, the flower is approx. 15

No, the flower is approx. 15 cm long. The leafes look rather messy, simular to a cactus with some very thin roots on each fraction on the leafes. I will provide a photo of the whole plant.

lady of the night

Indeed it is a cactus, strong fragance at sundown. Take a look in http://www.rareflora.com/epiphyllumoxy.html, Sends out aerial roots, if you cut a segment with roots it will give you anther plant. If polinized will give fruit. Have not tasted it yet!Mine grow in full sun.

Cactus

I'm not sure if this is edible!!! The only cactus that I know that are edible are pitaya which is a large climber and several desert cactus species such as prickly pear, saguaro and barrel cactus.
