Bulbophyllum gracillimum

Original submission as Bulbophyllum ? from Sarawak

As there seems to be quite a lot of interest in Bulbophyllums on this great site I thought those who are keen on this genus might like to see this photo taken in Bako National Park in Sarawak. I assume this a Bulbophyllum.

hi papillon..Difficult to judge the scale of this plant, but if the dorsal sepal is approx 1cm long and the sepals 4-6cm long it could well be B.gracillimum.

Hi Bernabu
Your size estimate is right. Baku NP has a dry plateau with very poor soil and mainly low growing shrubs to just over head height. Slightly wetter where this orchid was found. Several orchids, including this one quite common. Lots of pitcher plants too.

Personally I reckon you are right Bernard, this one is Bulbophyllum gracillimum.
