Camera Angle
This is not a good angle to show these off to their best.
Next time you photograph them, try photographing them straight on.
If you check the Pterostylus images I have put up, you'll see how I have photographed these to show the profile.
I have even placed the camera flat on the ground to get some of the ones I have put up.
The profile is what shows the unique shape of these tiny Australian terrestrials.
