Aerangis punctata is a true miniature plant with 1, occasionally 2-3 flowers to 4cm across. This species comes from Madagascar and is found in the center of the island at 1400m and flowers in the spring and summer on a short inflorescence.

Aerangis punctata is best grown mounted on slabs of tree-fern or rough bark.

Mounted plants need extra care to maintain high humidity.

Plants should be repotted if the medium starts to break down. Repotting should be done just as new roots start to grow. These plants grow best when conditions are cool, well-shaded, and humid.
